Big Ambitions Vehicles: Where to Buy Warehouse Trucks
Updated 2026-09-08 · Last verified 2026-09-08 · Steam Big Ambitions
If you are looking for where to buy a vehicle for a warehouse, the answer is General US Trucks, the dealership that specialises in warehouse and factory vehicles: the Freight Truck T1, the Mersaidi Dash and the Vord Courier D500. Buying it is the easy part. A vehicle only moves stock once it is parked inside the warehouse, has a Delivery Driver assigned to it, and the receiving store has at least one Storage Shelf to unload onto.
Before any of the numbers, a warning about the data most players will meet first.
The circulating vehicle table is contaminated
The community wiki's Vehicles page carries a single sortable table of cargo capacity, tank capacity, auto-park support, top speed and price. That table has been merged with data from a Spanish-language version of the same wiki, and the seams are visible in the wikitext:
- The auto park column contains
Sion several rows, the Spanish word for yes, while other rows in the same column sayNo. - The Freight Truck T1 appears in that table under the Spanish name
Camion de Carga T1, so the game's largest delivery vehicle is filed under a name that does not exist in the English build. - One row's price is printed without a currency symbol while every other row has one.
- Names disagree with the same page's own dealership list:
Vord V150againstVord 150,Anselmo AF90againstAnseimo AF90,Mersaidi MGA GTagainstMersaidi Mgagt GT, andVord Courier D500linked asVord Courtier D500.
That is one source, showing clear evidence of a bad merge, published without a version stamp. No price or cargo figure from it appears on this page. A second fansite has measured per-item and per-vehicle prices in-game since 2023 and is the better place for values; a second-hand copy here would rot silently and would be worse than nothing.
Buying a vehicle for a warehouse, step by step
Four of these five steps are confirmed by the official patch notes rather than by the community wiki, which is unusual for this topic.
| Step | What happens | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Buy | Purchase at a dealership. There is a purchase animation, referenced by name in the 1.0 build notes | Official, Build 3672/3674 |
| 2. Deliver | The vehicle is consigned to you rather than driven off the lot instantly. The community wiki gives a two-hour turnaround for a General US Trucks consignment | Single source, community wiki, edited 5 Sep 2026 |
| 3. Park | Drive it into the warehouse or factory. The 1.0 changelog fixes a case where selling and then cancelling "a vehicle in a warehouse" failed to reassign it, confirming vehicles are held and assigned inside the building | Official, 1.0 changelog |
| 4. Staff | Assign a Delivery Driver to the vehicle. One driver per vehicle at a time | Community wiki, edited 8 Sep 2026 |
| 5. Receive | The destination store needs at least one Storage Shelf. Warehouse and factory destinations need Pallet Shelves instead | Community wiki, plus 1.0 changelog confirming Storage Shelves now work inside warehouses and factories |
You do not have to buy from General US Trucks to run deliveries. The Vord V150 sits at City Cars and the UMC Nunavut sits at Manhattan Luxury Cars, and both appear on the community delivery-capable list at the lowest non-zero skill tier. General US Trucks is where the capacity is, not where permission comes from.
The three dealerships
Every name below appears on the community wiki's dealership list, which is the section of that page not affected by the merged table. Two entries have independent backing: Mersaidi S500 is named in Steam's own store description ("the new luxurious Mersaidi S500"), and General US Trucks appears repeatedly in official patch notes as a location the developers were fixing.
| Dealership | Focus | Vehicles listed |
|---|---|---|
| City Cars | Low to mid range, day to day | Honza Mimic, Vord V150, Vord Tiara Vic |
| General US Trucks | Warehouse and factory vehicles | Freight Truck T1, Mersaidi Dash, Vord Courier D500 |
| Manhattan Luxury Cars | Luxury | Anselmo AF90, Bima 320, Ferdinand 112, Lytte L6, Mersaidi MGA GT, Mersaidi S500, Petrolls Fanton, UMC Nunavut, Vord Pony |
| Onyx Luxury Chauffeurs | Private Driver contracts, plus one exclusive vehicle | Onyx-exclusive Limo (new in 1.0) |
Three vehicles exist in the world but cannot be driven: the Ambulance, the Patrol Car and the Taxi. Taxis are ridden rather than driven, and Steam's achievement list confirms the ride counter runs to 250. One vehicle, the UMC Desert, is flagged on the community wiki as "EA versions only" and is absent from the 1.0 dealership lists, which is a rare case of that wiki dating its own data correctly.
Driver skill gates what you can drive
Delivery Driver skill runs on the same 0 to 100 per cent scale as every other role, which Steam confirms through the Employee of the Month achievement at 50, 75 and 100 per cent. Skill decides which vehicle a driver can operate.
| Vehicle | Delivery Driver skill required |
|---|---|
| Freight Truck T1 | 95% |
| Vord Courier D500 | 75% |
| Mersaidi Dash, UMC Nunavut, Vord V150 | 50% |
| UMC Desert (Early Access only) | 0% |
| All other cars | 0% |
How many sources back this: one, not two. The figures appear on both the Delivery Driver page and the Logistics Manager page, but it is the same table pasted twice, so agreement between them proves nothing. Worse, the same wiki's Warehouse page says a driver "with at least 50% skill" can drive a freight truck, which directly contradicts the 95 per cent figure. Hovgaard Games has never published these thresholds. Treat 95 per cent as the safe assumption and expect to train the driver either way; see staff for how training works.
Freight Truck capacity: why no number appears here
The Freight Truck T1 is described as the largest delivery vehicle, and the mechanism is not disputed: the number of places one warehouse can serve scales with the vehicle type, with the Logistics Manager's skill, and with how many vehicle slots the building has. H-code warehouses hold one vehicle, larger codes hold two.
What is disputed is every figure attached to that mechanism.
| Source | Last edited | What it claims |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery Driver page | 8 Sep 2026 | A per-vehicle baseline, doubled at full Logistics Manager skill |
| Logistics Manager page | 7 Sep 2026 | The identical table, same figures, same origin |
| Importers page | Oct 2025 (Early Access) | One flat cap applied to every delivery vehicle including the Freight Truck T1 |
| Warehouse page | 5 Sep 2026 | A two-slot warehouse total, derived by multiplying the first table |
Four claims, three different answers, no official figure behind any of them. This page prints none of them. The full breakdown of the conflict, and what a player would need to test to settle it, is on logistics.
Delivery timing has the same problem. The Delivery Driver page says warehouse-to-store runs at 02:00; the Importers page says 08:00; an official patch note from April 2023 told players deliveries "only happen once per day at midnight". The Warehouse page's own timing table suggests the first two describe different legs, with supplier deliveries arriving into a warehouse on one schedule and warehouse-to-store runs going out on another. That reading is plausible and unverified, and the official figure is three years and roughly a dozen builds out of date. Assume one automatic run per in-game day and check the clock in your own save.
The Onyx limo and the Private Driver, new in 1.0
The 1.0 changelog introduces Onyx Luxury Chauffeurs, and the sequence is spelled out officially: pick a vehicle, set up a contract with Onyx, drop the vehicle in their garage, then summon the driver whenever you need a ride. The official wording matters here because it heads off a common assumption. Any vehicle works, "from Uncle Fred's cheap Honza, to the luxury Anselmo", and the Onyx-exclusive Limo is offered as an optional upgrade rather than a requirement.
Almost nobody has used it yet. As of 8 September 2026, the bronze tier of They See Me Rollin', which asks for ten private-driver rides, sits at 1.4 per cent of players, and the gold tier at 100 rides sits at 0.7 per cent. Full walkthrough on private driver.
Driving in 1.0: what actually changed
Auto park is not new to 1.0. Official Early Access 0.2 patch notes from May 2023 already list it as an existing mechanic with known bugs, more than three years before the 1.0 release. What 1.0 did was fix it, not add it. Build 3672/3674 on 1 September 2026 lists three auto-park bugs resolved, including parking you on top of your own cars or scooters and refusing the space you had just pulled out of.
The same build made auto steering less aggressive and turned its driving-UI icon into a toggle, added low fuel and vehicle damage to the objectives and alerts panel, and fixed NPC turn-signal behaviour. The 1.0 changelog itself added the ability to call and cancel truck deliveries, and to reorder Logistics Manager and Purchasing Agent delivery lists.
Electric scooters are rented from the street rather than bought. The only rental price in circulation is a single Early Access figure, so it is not reproduced here; scooters themselves are certainly still in 1.0, since the launch patches fix scooter turning, colliders and colour changes after renting.
What owning vehicles costs, from Steam's own data
These thresholds are first-party. They come from the achievement list, they are exact, and the unlock rates say how far the average player has actually gone. Rates captured 8 September 2026.
| Achievement | Condition | Bronze | Silver | Gold | Gold unlock rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Carpark | Vehicles owned | 2 | 10 | 40 | 0.4% |
| Mad Whip | Own a car worth at least | $15,000 | $90,000 | $120,000 | 14.5% |
| Mechanic Paradise | Spent on repairs | $10,000 | $50,000 | $250,000 | 5.9% |
| Expensive Drops | Spent on fuel | $1,000 | $5,000 | $10,000 | 0.3% |
| Crime Rider | Parking tickets received | 10 | 50 | 250 | 0.5% |
| The Passenger | Taxi rides completed | 10 | 50 | 250 | 2.3% |
| They See Me Rollin' | Private driver rides | 10 | 25 | 100 | 0.7% |
| Freightshakers | Delivery drivers hired and scheduled | 5 | 10 | 20 | 0.7% |
| Sea Bling | Own a boat worth at least | $2,500,000 | $3,000,000 | $90,000,000 | 1.4% |
| The Sailer | Boats owned | 2 | 5 | 10 | 0.5% |
Two things fall out of this. Mad Whip is an official confirmation that cars exist at or above $120,000 without anyone needing to trust the contaminated price table. And Freightshakers at 6.0 per cent bronze, for hiring five delivery drivers, shows how few players run a fleet at all: the logistics layer is where the game thins out. Boats are a separate track, with SeaKing 8000 and Blue Yachts OG documented on the community wiki and a vessel worth at least $90,000,000 confirmed by the gold tier. Full list on achievements.
What this page will not tell you
- Prices and cargo capacities. The only complete table is the contaminated one. Values are measured in-game by a dedicated price site; this wiki does not copy them.
- Delivery destination caps. Four community claims, three answers, no official figure.
- Top speed and tank capacity. Same table, same problem.
- Which vehicle is best. That depends on the destination count, which is the exact number nobody can currently verify.
Change log
- 8 September 2026: Page created. Vehicle price and capacity data withheld after confirming the Spanish-language merge in the community wiki's table. Auto park corrected from a claimed 1.0 feature to a mechanic already present by Early Access 0.2 (May 2023), which Build 3672/3674 only fixed. General US Trucks consignment turnaround corrected to the community wiki's stated two hours. Freight truck driver-skill contradiction between the Delivery Driver and Warehouse pages recorded. April 2023 official delivery-timing note added as a third conflicting figure.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I buy a vehicle for a warehouse in Big Ambitions?
General US Trucks is the dealership that sells the vehicles built for warehouses and factories: the Freight Truck T1, the Mersaidi Dash and the Vord Courier D500. It is not the only option, because the Vord V150 from City Cars and the UMC Nunavut from Manhattan Luxury Cars also appear on the community delivery-capable list. Buying the vehicle is only step one. You then drive it into the warehouse, assign a Delivery Driver to it, and make sure the receiving store has at least one Storage Shelf.
Why does the community vehicle table say 'Si' instead of 'Yes'?
Because the table on the Fandom Vehicles page has been merged with data from a Spanish-language version. The auto-park column contains the Spanish word 'Si' on several rows, and the Freight Truck T1 appears under the Spanish name 'Camion de Carga T1'. Anyone reading that table is reading two languages' data in one grid, so its prices and cargo figures should not be trusted as current 1.0 values.
What driver skill do I need for the Freight Truck T1?
The Delivery Driver and Logistics Manager pages both state 95 per cent or higher for the Freight Truck T1, 75 per cent for the Vord Courier D500, and 50 per cent for the Mersaidi Dash, UMC Nunavut and Vord V150. Both pages were edited in September 2026, so they describe 1.0. Note that the same wiki's Warehouse page says 50 per cent is enough for a freight truck, which contradicts the other two, and that all three are community figures rather than developer-published ones.
How many stores can one warehouse deliver to?
The number scales with the type of vehicle and with the Logistics Manager's skill, and it also depends on how many vehicle slots the warehouse building has. The exact cap is not something this page will print, because four community pages give four different answers and none of them comes from Hovgaard Games. See the logistics page for how the mechanism works and where the sources diverge.
What is the Onyx limo in Big Ambitions 1.0?
The Onyx-exclusive Limo is a vehicle introduced with the 1.0 release on 28 August 2026, sold alongside the new Private Driver service at Onyx Luxury Chauffeurs. The official changelog is explicit that you do not need it: any vehicle works with the chauffeur contract, from Uncle Fred's cheap Honza to the luxury Anselmo. The limo is a cosmetic and status choice rather than a requirement.
Do vehicles cost money to keep in Big Ambitions?
Yes. Steam's own achievement list confirms three ongoing vehicle costs: fuel, repairs and parking tickets, each with bronze, silver and gold spending thresholds. Build 3672/3674 on 1 September 2026 also added low fuel and vehicle damage status to the objectives and alerts panel, so the game now surfaces both before they strand a delivery.
